Baxi Boiler Fault Codes
Baxi combi, system and heat-only boilers. Modern Baxi models show an E-prefixed numeric fault code on the display (for example E133 or E119), which pinpoints the area at fault so it can be diagnosed quickly.
Applies to: Baxi 600, Baxi 800, Platinum+, EcoBlue, Duo-tec
Baxi E28
Flue gas (NTC) thermistor fault
The flue gas temperature sensor is giving a reading the boiler cannot use, so it has shut down.
Baxi E110
Overheat — primary circuit too hot
The boiler has sensed the primary water getting too hot and shut down on the overheat thermostat.
Baxi E119
Low water pressure
System pressure has dropped too low for the boiler to run safely.
Baxi E125
Circulation fault
The boiler is not detecting proper water circulation, so it has shut down to protect itself.
Baxi E131
Flue gas thermostat / flue safety device
The flue safety device has tripped because flue gases got too hot or a flue fault was detected.
Baxi E133
Gas supply fault / ignition lockout
The boiler tried to light but did not detect a flame, so it has locked out on the gas supply for safety.
Baxi E160
Fan fault
The fan is not running at the speed the boiler expects, so it will not light for safety.
